totally immeasurable. What, however, does transformation mean in practical and tangible
terms? And, how can legal ops functions get investment in transformation programmes? During
this webinar legal ops leaders will reveal the challenges they’ve overcome when leading transformation programmes, and share their advice for others.

I am a business-oriented lawyer with over 20 years of experience in international consumer financing and banking, with skills to translate regulatory requirements into smooth customer experience and product design which serves customer needs, business aspirations and compliance. As the leader of Legal & Compliance function at IPF Digital Group, a digital consumer lender and e-wallet provider operating in multiple jurisdictions across the globe, I have grown to be a great supporter of legal tech solutions allowing lawyers to automate and scale, and application of agile ways of working to operate smarter, in greater alignment with business processes and simply to have more fun when managing and influencing change. I am living in Tallinn, Estonia, a small country that is continuously leading Europe in terms of start-ups, unicorns, and investments per capita.
Natalie Connor, VP Legal &Expansion, Crowdcube
Natalie has led legal teams within FinTechs as a General Counsel for the last 4 years after transitioning out of her career at the Commercial Bar. Specialising in private markets work, she was most recently CLO and board member at Semper (a secondaries platform for European startups) when it was acquired by Crowdcube in late 2023, and having recently secured them a MiFID license from the French regulators, she now works in a hybrid senior legal and strategy role. She leads on legal transformation projects within Crowdcube – including in the field of AI – and also sits on the boards of several other businesses helping them with their most pressing digital challenges. Outside of her day-job, she runs a longevity brand helping busy entrepreneurs, execs and lawyers to live better for longer.
Esther Woo, Head of Legal Operations – EMEAMUFG
Esther Woo is a Director and Head of Legal Operations for MUFG in EMEA. She is responsible for strategic planning and delivery of the department’s goals and targets, financial and people planning, development, improvement and optimisation of region-wide consistent processes, the technology roadmap, panel firm operation and management, KPI development and monitoring, management reporting and oversight of legal risk management.

Rachel Barnes has extensive experience in change, transformation and innovation in the legal sector, investment banking and with early-stage start-ups. During her time in the legal sector, her focus was on collaboratively innovating and transforming Herbert Smith Freehills, Ashurst and Reed Smith. In November 2023, Rachel joined Clarke Willmott as Director of Transformation, with the responsibility to operationalise firm strategy, establish the PMO and support the firm in its transformation efforts around how legal solutions are delivered and supported internally.

Rozenn Heathcote is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of international leadership experience in the services sector (facilities management & food services and the real estate industry). She currently serves as the Executive Director, Legal Operations & Strategy at Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc (NYSE: JLL), a Fortune 500 Real Estate Services Company with a global workforce of over 100,000 employees. A member of the Legal Executive team, Rozenn plays a key role in optimizing the operational effectiveness of JLL’s legal and compliance functions, working closely with and providing strategic guidance to a team of 300 legal and compliance professionals spanning across more than 30 countries.
Throughout her career, Rozenn has worked in various locations including France, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States. Rozenn’s approach places a strong emphasis on large scale, multi-site change management, and she has been a part of several wildly successful global implementation projects.
