The Lawyer European Awards 2023: Shortlist revealed

The Lawyer’s European Awards is back for the 14th year in a row to crown the crème de la crème of the European legal market.

More than 250 entries from 120 firms and organisations have been submitted as the battle begins to claim one or more of the 27 prizes that are up for grabs.

In addition to the usual categories such as European law firm of the year, four new awards have been introduced this time, too. They are Best transformation initiative, Pro bono initiative of the year, Best client services innovation, and European general counsel of the year.

The event will be held in-person at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Thursday 23 November 2023.

In 2022, Spanish firm Cuatrecasas was named European law firm of the year, while Global firm of the year went to Latham & Watkins. It was Alejandro Touriño of Spanish firm ECIJA who was named European Managing Partner of the Year.
