Paul Hastings is expecting to generate over $200m (£158m) in its London office this year after investments made across its finance and litigation groups. The firm is estimated to have brought in $174m (£138m) over 2023, meaning it is looking to grow its revenue in the City by at least 15 per cent in this financial year. Paul Hastings’ Paris office is set for a major boost in its white collar practice, with the arrival of a team from a local firm. US firm Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison has secured a new role representing private equity house Oakley Capital in a refinancing deal for portfolio company Phenna Group. The firm acted for Oakley and its portfolio business, a testing, inspection, certification and compliance platform, on a refinancing deal worth €1bn.
