What a great episode! I particularly enjoyed the discussion about the broad social responsibility implications of legal work. As we all know, ESG has become one of the hottest topics in Legal over the last five years or so – but there’s sometimes been a tendency to look at the subject only through the most obvious lenses, including DEI, sustainability, climate change and so on. As legal industry professionals, we should all be asking ourselves about the impact we make (good or bad) on the lives of people that our work affects.
