Forbes Solicitors’ managing partner Pauline Wild has performed fabulously well since stepping up into the firm’s top job. Since becoming managing partner, she has set about stamping her personality on every aspect. In the 18 months she’s been in the role, the firm has overhauled its property portfolio, relaunched its revamped purpose and mission statement, and forced down debt levels which had once looked all-consuming.
As a result, Forbes celebrated a record year in revenue and headcount when all was said and done in the 2022/23 financial year. Revenue pushed past the £20m milestone for the first time in firm history at £20.5m, overall headcount peaked at around 400, and new initiatives and internal groups were established to improve equality, diversity and inclusion. All of this, Wild says, is the result of concerted effort by everyone at Forbes to lift the firm up and make 2024 even more successful than 2023 was.
So what next for Forbes and Wild? She hopes to build on the strong foundations lain during her tenure. Whether that be acquisitions, laterals or property revamps, Wild is adamant none of this could even have been imagined without the roll-up-your-sleeves already done. That said, every organisation needs a leader for people to follow and, in Wild, Forbes has just that.
