Travers Smith has promoted four of its lawyers to partnership, all of them women.
Litigator Heather Gagen, private equity lawyer Emma Havas, the tax team’s Hannah Manning and real estate’s Emma Pereira get the nod.
Gagen trained at Hogan Lovells and Havas at Slaughter and May, while Manning and Pereira both started out at Travers Smith.
It is the firm’s first ever all-female promotions round.
The promotions take effect from 1 July.
Travers Smith senior partner Chris Hale said: “We are excited not just to be able to promote these talented lawyers to the partnership, but to have our first ever female cohort of new partners. Each individual has demonstrated a strong track record of delivering an outstanding service to clients and we are confident they will each play an important part in the future success of both the teams in which they work and the firm as a whole.”
